Six students received cash for their good grades through Security National Bank of Enid’s Pays for A’s program, now in its 19th year of honoring area students. “We are proud of the accomplishments of the students in northwest Oklahoma, our area has so many gifted students”, said SNB’s, April Danahy senior vice president of corporate communications. Report cards drawn belong to Andrea Lozano of Longfellow Junior High, Ethan Ritchie of Chisholm Middle School, Cheyenne Gill of Enid High School, Lilyan Walden of Cimarron Elementary, and Madison Maluy of Pioneer Pleasant Vale School. The recipient of the $150 Savings Account was Gunner Johnson of Garber Elementary. Each student entering the Pays for A’s program at Security National Bank received free ice dream from Chick Fil A of Enid.

Security National Bank of Enid will once again be rewarding five lucky area students for their good grades with the SNB Pays for A’s program.

Since 2002 thousands of report cards have been submitted. The bank sponsors the program twice a year, once for spring semester grades and once for fall semester grades.

The program is open to students in grades 3 through 12. Public and private school students are encouraged to participate. Students will have until 5pm June 19, 2020 to take their report cards to any of Security National Bank’s three locations. There the bank will make a copy of the report card and place it in the hopper. Four cards will be drawn from the hopper. Those four students will receive $10 for each A and $5 for each B on their spring 2020 semester grades. Individual grades from each nine-week section will not be considered. All students entering their grades will receive a coupon for an ice dream cone from Chick Fil A of Enid.

In addition to the four students who will be “paid for their As”, one card will be drawn from the hopper for a $150 savings account with the bank.

A little coloring could earn your child a free ticket and a $15 Visa gift card to Enid Comic Con August 3rd and 4th. Security National Bank of Enid is sponsoring the superhero coloring contest for children up to 12 years of age in conjunction with Enid Comic Con. “It’s a fun way to be part of this growing event”, said senior vice president of corporate communications April Danahy, “We look forward to seeing the Security National Bank super hero page in full color”. Danahy offers this advice to the young artists “have fun and be creative”.

The page in question in part of the Enid Com Con magazine and is available at all three of the bank’s locations. To enter simply pick up the magazine, color in the two superheroes and turn your entry in at the bank by Friday July 26th. Judges, not affiliated with the bank, will pick the top 10 entries and those artists will be notified. Each winner will receive a free ticket to Enid Comic Con and a $15 Visa gift card from Security National Bank of Enid.
