When other businesses are looking outside Enid for growth and expansion, one institution continues to place their faith and resources in the Enid community. Security National Bank believes that reinvesting the bank’s dollars back into the area is one of the most important ways to continue building our community.
Security National Bank was founded before Oklahoma statehood. It was chartered in 1905 as Oklahoma State Bank and was renamed Security National Bank of Enid in 1935. The Athey family has owned controlling interest in the bank since 1927. Scott Athey is the fourth generation of the family to serve as CEO and Chairman of the Board.
The bank is dedicated to remaining focused on Enid and giving back to the community.
